2017 Annual International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium – An Additive Manufacturing Conference

Onsite registration is available beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, at the Hilton Austin in the Salon JK Foyer on the 6th floor. To expedite the registration process, you may complete and print the PDF registration form and bring it with you. Staff will be available to assist you with your registration.

The 2017 Annual International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium – An Additive Manufacturing Conference (SFF Symposium) will be held Monday, August 7 through Wednesday, August 9, with a pre-conference social event scheduled for Sunday, August 6. Additional information regarding this symposium, such as events, awards, and hotel options, can be found on the SFF Symposium website.

Registration Information

Full-conference and student registration fees include the following:

  • Sunday evening pre-conference event
  • Monday evening awards banquet
  • Tuesday lunch
  • A flash drive copy of the conference proceedings

Technical sessions will begin on Monday, August 7 and run through Wednesday, August 9.

Attendees are required to register and badges must be worn for admission to technical sessions and all conference events.

Registration Fees:
Full Conference $620
Student* $400
Daily (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday)** $250

* Must be a full-time graduate or undergraduate student to register at student rate. Students may register online, and must send a copy of their student ID card by email to e-mail. Students must bring their student ID cards with them on-site to get their conference materials.
** One-day registration includes one social event, but not a copy of the proceedings.

Cancellation Policy
Requests for cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail or mail) to TMS. A $75 processing fee is charged for all cancellations. No refunds will be processed after August 3, 2017.

Visa Application Process

Meeting attendees from countries that require a visa to enter the United States are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa takes a minimum of three months. You are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and begin the application process early. The U.S. State Department website includes visa information concerning temporary visitors to the United States that may be helpful to you.

Please note that the Department of Homeland Security is implementing the Electronic System for Travel Authorization, which is expected to be mandatory for Visa Waiver Program travelers. Complete information is available on the Visa Waiver Program page of the U.S. State Department website.

Technical Program Information
